Sharing all my Tips & Tricks for How to Create a Cozy & Beautiful Winter Mantel Decor after Christmas for our living room fireplace mantel with white decoration ideas, garland & pictures.
It’s funny as excited as I am to decorate for Christmas, I am often just as excited to take down the decorations.
Winter decorating to me is about bright white décor, warm fires and candles burning, simplicity and quiet.
For our winter mantel décor I took down most of the reds and greens from Christmas but left up the candles houses and star garland.

Cozy & White Fireplace Mantel Decorating Ideas
I love decorating with tealight houses in the winter.
It reminds me of how warm and cozy our farmhouse feels in the middle of a snow storm with a fire burning.
The white background makes me think of the kids playing outside in the snow while I get the hot chocolate ready.
Zinc Houses & Metal Garland for Winter Mantel Decor
I found the Concordville Zinc house and tree on sale at Terrain right before Christmas.
I love the warm glow that comes through the windows.
I can’t wait to find more zinc houses to decorate with next year.
I found the metal & white star garland at Pottery Barn Kids a few years ago.
Pallet Wood Wreath & White Clay for Winter Mantel Decor
I want to make a clay snowflake to hang on our Pallet Wreath to match my snowflake candle but for now I hung a heart one I made for Valentine’s day.
Our winter mantel and living room seem so calming to me.
There is nothing like a warm fire in the winter, especially on a snowy day.
Winter Mantel Decor at Night
My favorite part of our winter mantel is how all the lights from the fire and the candles glow at night.
The stick tree is from Restoration Hardware and the boxwood topiaries are from Balsam Hill.
When decorating my fireplace mantel during any season I look for inspiration from outside my window.
I also love decorating with things that make me think of family traditions and activities during the season.
These things bring warmth to my heart and every time I look at my mantel these things come to mind.
Thanks so much for stopping by to see my winter mantel decor.
I hope this inspires you to create a winter mantel of your own!
