Today, I am so excited to share my summer porch and garden tour along with a few of my blogging friends.
I could tour someone’s garden EVERY SINGLE DAY of the year and be a happy girl!
I hope your summer outdoor decorating and gardening will be inspired by all the summer garden tours, patios, backyard spaces and summer front porches we are sharing.
Farmhouse Summer Porch Decor with White Rockers, Flowers & Red & Blue Decor
You will often find me enjoying the shade of our farmhouse front porch in the summer!
Our summer porch is my favorite spot to enjoy my morning cup of coffee before the kids wake up and find me.
Our summer porch and gardens have definitely changed over the last 5 years since we moved into our farmhouse in the suburbs.
It was only last fall, that we added our pergola and planters to the front porch of our home.
The climbing hydrangea has slowly been creeping up our front porch posts. I was so happy to see it blooming when sharing our summer porch.
I can hardly wait for it to cover the entire pergola in dark green leaves and white flowers.
I had to give our little porch a good wash and scrub for this summer porch & garden tour.
It is amazing to me how much dust, dirt and cobwebs build up in a short period of time.
And… of course, I had to move the furniture around a bit to make it summer porch ready!
Jason’s parents recently surprised us with this beautiful antique milk can for our summer porch.
Although, they had it at their home in Colorado it is originally from a creamery in PA just 2 hours from where we live!
It is the perfect size and height to hold any coffee mugs or glasses of wine enjoyed on our summer porch.
I love how perfectly it fits next to our white rocking chairs on our farmhouse summer porch.
A few white impatient flowers add a little color to our planters and window box.
Our front summer porch garden has really filled in the last few years since we planted it.
The flowers and greenery really soften and add beauty to the front of our farmhouse.
Summer Porch Stone Walkway & Gardens
Our Annabelle hydrangeas are not quite blooming just yet but it won’t be long before the gorgeous white blooms will cover every inch of our home and garden.
The gardens we planted along our stone walkways are blooming like crazy.
Backyard Summer Garden
It won’t be long before the trees and our wooden arbor start shading our new brick patio all day long!
Just off of our sunken brick patio we gave our fire pit a little refresh with a new pea gravel patio.
Summer Vegetable Garden, Orchard & Strawberry Patch
Down the hill, in our front yard we have kept ourselves busy by planting and weeding the vegetables in our raised beds.
Lettuce, anyone? 🙂
We also have to beat the birds every morning before they get to the strawberries.
Good thing my youngest is happy to go out and collect… or eat a few before his bus comes when he isn’t swinging on our new tire swing!
Our home orchard is also growing nicely with the hopes of harvesting apples, peaches, pears and blackberries this year.
I seriously CAN NOT WAIT to start filling my canning jars with all this yummy fruit!
Despite all the flowers, shrubs and trees we planted over the years, I was most excited about this one….
A yellow lady slipper orchid under a tall tree that I never planted!
Thank you birds!
I am hoping it will continue to grow and invite more lady slipper friends to move in.
Here’s to lots of time spent roasting marshmallows, lighting sparklers, outdoor dining, barefoot dancing and of course coffee on our summer porch!
I hope this inspired to decorate your summer porch & this gave you some summer gardening ideas.
I want to wish you all a fun summer spent outside!
