- shamrock cookie cutter (Wilton Green Metal Shamrock Cookie Cutter)
- Kelly Green Ribbon (Firefly Imports Single Face Satin Ribbon, 1/4-Inch/100-Yard, Emerald Green)
- Rolling Pin
- Wax Paper
- 1 Chopstick
- Scissors
Step By Step Tutorial for How To Make Shamrock Garland Craft
Step ONE – Roll out the Modeling Clay
Roll out your modeling clay to about 1/4 inch deep.
I only used half of the clay to make the Shamrock garland craft so there is plenty left to make another project with.
Step TWO – Cut Out Your Shamrocks
Cut out your shamrocks (I made 7 for my shamrock garland) and one extra for my Pallet Wreath so 8 in total.
Step THREE – Make a Hole in the Shamrock
Using a Chopstick make a small hole at the top in order to hang the garland & separate Shamrock for my Pallet Wreath.
Step FOUR – Air Dry the Shamrocks
Let Dry (usually take 2 days if air drying). Thw length of drying time will vary depending on how thick you make the shamrock cut outs.
Step FIVE – Hang Your Shamrock Garland
I strung 7 clay shamrocks through the Kelly green ribbon to hang from my farmhouse living room fireplace mantel.
I also cut another piece of Kelly green ribbon about 4 inches long to hang 1 clay Shamrock from my Pallet Wreath.
Modeling clay is so easy to craft with and I love using it in my décor.
I made a similar garland for Spring last year (here) and hearts for a Valentine tree (here).
I love the Shamrock garland on My living room mantel and on my pallet wreath!!!
