Supplies & Tools Need to Make a DIY Pallet Towel Rack Holder
- pallet wood
- saw to cut the pallet wood
- Sand paper or electric sander
- Chrome Letter Initials (if personalizing)
- Chrome Towel Hooks or Cabinet Knobs
- Screwdriver & Screws
Step by Step Instructions for How to Make a Wooden Pallet Towel Rack Holder
Step ONE – Dissemble your Pallet Wood
Take Apart your pallet. For some tips & tricks for how to disassemble a pallet carefully, check out this blog post HERE.
Step TWO – Cut the Pallet Wood to Size
Cut the pallet wood the dimensions you want.
We cut 3 boards 4 inches by 8 inches to hang vertically & 2 boards 10 inches by 3 inches to hang horizontally.

Step THREE – Sand Down the Pallet Wood
Sand the pallet boards down.
Be careful to not sand too much or you will sand off a lot of the character of what makes pallet wood special!
Step FOUR – Personalize & Add Towel Hooks
We wanted to make the sure the boys knew EXACTLY which hooks were theirs so we added their first initial as well as a gorgeous towel hook from Kohler.
This is the hook that we used, KOHLER K-10555-CP Devonshire Robe Hook, Polished Chrome
We used letters similar to this one, RCH Hardware Solid Brass 3″ Tall House Letter A, Polished Chrome Shiny Silver Matching Screws Included

Step FIVE – Secure the Pallet Towel Rack Holder to the Wall
For the boards next to the sink we screwed the boards to the wall right next to where we added the knobs so the screws would be hidden.

We hung 2 Ball jars lanterns for Q-tips & mini flossers next to our gorgeous new bathroom sink.
To learn how we hung our Ball jars, check out this post here.
The hand towels fit perfectly on our wooden pallet towel rack holder next to the boys gorgeous wall mounted sink.

The boys large bath towels hang perfectly by the bathroom door.
Now if they will only remember to hang them up to dry!

Now that you see how simple these diy pallet towel rack holders are to make I hope you will try & make one for your home!
