It seems funny, that I had declared I would only use faux greenery in my Christmas decorating this year.
When you see my Christmas tablescape, you will see that my dining table is set with lots and lots and LOTS of live greenery and I love it, ha!

I finally talked Jason into trying our new church pew in the dining room to add some comfy seating to our farmhouse table.
I can’t believe how closely the wood matches both pieces.
The jury is out as to whether or not we will keep it in the dining room but it adds much needed floor space in this room which is less than 9 feet wide.
It gives such a cozy home sweet home look to our farmhouse!

So, let me explain the change of plans from faux to real greenery…
If you are like us, you buy the tallest Christmas tree possible and have to trim off a good foot and a half after you get home and have a lot of left over greenery. 🙂
So rather than let it go to waste, I added it everywhere humanly possible!

After all, you can’t beat free décor!
Because the greenery is real I did go faux with my new candles so as not to worry about lighting my table on fire. 🙂
