Today, I am popping in to share the SIMPLEST and prettiest appetizer for the holidays! Our family loves cheese and especially baked brie. This quick brie recipe can be made in just 10 minutes in a toaster oven! Yay :). I am sharing this simple appetizer recipe along with my back to basics blogging friends hosted by Vicki and Jenn from 2 Bees in a Pod and Coco from the Crowned Goat. Be sure to check out their appetizer recipes below!

Crackers (I bought toasted French bread crustini)
Sliced Green Apples
Preheat your toaster or regular oven to 350 degrees.
Find your favorite holiday square baking dish . (no need to wash extra dishes if not necessary 🙂
Bake for 7 minutes.
Add strawberry jam to the top of the brie. I used some homemade strawberry jam from my freezer. (You can find my recipe here) Bake for another 1-2 minutes until the jam is warm and just started to run down from the top.
Spread generously on bread, toasts, crackers, apples or whatever your hearts desire!
I think the red of the strawberries is just perfect for the holidays, especially at Christmas!
Full disclosure, sometimes we don’t wait for a holiday to devour this. Sometimes you just need a lazy Sunday afternoon :).
As you can see my kids wasted no time taking advantage of this tasty appetizer!
