Splendor of Autumn Home Tour with Balsam Hill
Today I am sharing how I am celebrate the season of autumn with my autumn home decorating thanks to my friends at Balsam Hill.

Autumn Home Decor in our Farmhouse
Autumn Home Decor Living Room
Crunchy beautifully colored fall leaves, cooler autumn breezes, big bushels of apples & pumpkins, smoky bonfires and of course, hot spiced cider…..
When decorating our farmhouse I try to bring those autumn sights & sounds inside our home as I think of all the annual fall memories we share as a family.
Our autumn memories usually start with our annual trip to the apple orchard where we pick up bushels & bushels of apples & loads upon loads of pumpkins….
Because autumn can be such a busy time of year, simplicity in decorating is sooooo important!
Even little things like hanging a pretty fall wreath on our fireplace echoes fall without taking time away from other fall activities.
Heirloom Pumpkin and Magnolia Wreath
This gorgeous magnolia wreath on my living room mantel speaks for itself.
The magnolia leaves & pine cones look identical to the ones in our yard & the white pumpkins look just like the ones we brought home from the orchard.
It wouldn’t feel like fall without candles!!!
The warm glow of these miracle flame wax LED candles & faux bois walnut candle holders give beauty to our fireplace without the worry that one of kids or Moose might knock them over.
You never need to search for a fresh candle or find a lighter to light them & they come with a remote!!!
Walnut Faux Bois Candle Holders & Miracle Flame LED Wax Pillar Candle
Jason even thought the candles were real & these faux bois candle holders were made of wood before I told him otherwise. 🙂
When our kids get off their school bus I love to sit with them & hear about their day.
As they continue to grow up, taking a few minutes with them before the craziness of soccer practice & homework seems to be more and more important these days.
Most school days, I don’t have such a pretty spread laid out but yesterday, I had a little extra time to surprise them with some apple cider & homemade cinnamon buns (made by the Amish, not me. 🙂
Autumn Home Decor in the Kitchen
In the fall, our family loves everything apple… sliced apples, apple cider and applesauce, which makes our kitchen smell amazing while cooking. Tucker, our youngest has started to ask me to make more pumpkin recipes.
This gorgeous hand blown pumpkin candle holder is a gentle reminder to me that I need to venture more into the world of pumpkin baking.
Because, as I learned from my older 3, you are only 6 for a little while.
Flavored tea light candles smell & look amazing inside my newest pumpkin candle holder.
So even when I am not baking my kitchen can still smell delish :).
Autumn Home Decor in the Family Room
I love my new pumpkin candle so much I have been moving it all around our home.
Don’t be afraid to move things around your home, it is always fun to keep your family guessing!
I recently moved it onto our family room mantel & lit it with some fairy lights from Balsam Hill & beautiful pumpkin garland.
The orange pumpkins of the garland pop & the color is identical to my kid’s carving pumpkins in the vintage ash bucket next to our fireplace.
Fall Mantel Decor with TV
Since I can’t hang a pretty autumn wreath over our family room mantel because of our TV, I hung this colorful autumn garland under it to remind us of the beauty of fall just outside our windows.
The matching autumn wreath looks fantastic hung on our picture window. It even looks pretty from the outside too :).
Autumn Home Decor in the Family Room
When it’s time for those yummy family filled fall dinners, I plan on moving my new autumn wreath & autumn garland into our dining room.
The autumn garland & wax LED candles look stunning on our farmhouse table.
With the candles on our table I added 3 green pumpkins on top of our faux bois candle holders so they didn’t feel lonely :).
I can’t make any promises that I won’t move those gorgeous pieces from Balsam Hill again but it’s safe to say that our farmhouse is officially ready with it’s autumn home decor! 🙂
As you can see, it only takes a couple beautiful pieces to make your home look stunning without taking time away from those important fall memories with family.
