Our family loves monkey bread! 

This monkey bread recipe is from Jason’s mom & I am not sure where she found it but it is super easy to make and everyone LOVES it! 

It is DELISH with coffee first thing in the morning for breakfast or shared over coffee with good friends for dessert.

Ingredients Needed to Make this Easy Monkey Bread Recipe

  • 2 frozen bread loaves (we usually buy Rhodes)
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 3oz box of vanilla pudding (not instant)
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Step by Step Instructions for How to Make this Easy Monkey Bread Recipe

Step ONE – Thaw the Frozen Bread

Get out 2 frozen bread loaves and put them in a greased 9 x 13 pan. 

Cover with plastic wrap and let rise overnight or for 8 hours during the day.

Step TWO – Cut Up the Bread into Walnut Size Balls

Once the bread is risen grease the pan again and cut the bread up in walnut size balls.

Cover them up and let them rise for another hour.

Step THREE – Make the Monkey Bread Topping

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. 

Add milk, cinnamon, vanilla pudding, and milk.

Step FOUR – Pour Topping over Bread

Pour the topping over the walnut size bread balls.

Bake the monkey bread recipe at 350 for 25-30 mins. 

(We like it on the gooey so I usually take it out closer to 25 minutes.
