It seems fitting that I should share our Christmas kitchen & dining room first after all the hustle & bustle in these two rooms last week.
Jason & love to host & our farmhouse is the heart of all of our family gatherings.
Christmas Kitchen Window Glass Decor & a Candle
We had 22 here for Thanksgiving dinner.
Now that the dishes are washed, the leftovers are almost all eaten & everyone is home safe from their long travels home I can turn my attention to the Christmas season!
I placed almost all my vintage Christmas decor in our Christmas kitchen window.
Colorful Christmas Balls in a Mason Jar on the Christmas Kitchen Countertops
They remind me of Christmases past when I was a little girl excited for Christmas…and I can’t help but smile when I see these vintage Santas.
Vintage Santa on the Christmas Kitchen Cupboard
Christmas cookie baking with my Nana, Christmas shopping & wrapping with my mom, fancy Christmas dinners at my aunt’s & of course matching Christmas dresses with my sisters.
They hold such sweet memories in my heart & I love these sweet reminders when I am cooking & baking in our Christmas Kitchen.
It won’t be long till the kids & I start our Christmas kitchen baking in here.
Our new kitchen island will be the perfect spot for rolling out all that cookie dough.
Mmmm, I can almost smell those sugar cookies baking in our Christmas Kitchen.
Christmas Wreath on the Wood Range Hood
I have been thinking about hanging a Christmas Kitchen wreath to our DIY range hood since before it was built, ha!
It just amazes me that we were able to reuse our old kitchen cabinets to give us the farmhouse kitchen we were dreaming of!
Christmas Dining Room
Moving into the dining room…which we have just recently started renovating. We just recently added shiplap to the walls & I can’t get over how much brighter this room is now!
The white walls (which we still need to paint, Oy) really make the oak on our farmhouse table pop.
Our farmhouse table is one of my favorite DIY projects to date!
I still can’t believe the transformation of it.
Christmas Kitchen Dining Table Decor
I added a simple DIY advent candle holder with some fresh greenery to the top of the table. (DIY here)
The greenery goes well with my DIY Christmas Wreath on our dining room mantel.
And… we found another church pew (whoop, whoop) to add more seating to the dining room.
I started to panic a few days before Thanksgiving when I realized the kids had broken a few chairs & we no longer had enough seating for everyone.
A quick Craigslist search found this 8 foot long church pew for sale just 5 mins away.
For $20 it was a steal & will go down as one of my best finds ever!
A quick sanding from Jason & it looks just as good as the church pew we added to our living room.
If you want to see the rest of our farmhouse decorated for Christmas, you can find that here…
