I love my yellow forsythia wreath hanging on my living mantel (see it HERE) so much that I was inspired to make another one for my farmhouse front door.
I stopped by my local craft store to get the supplies, came home, made a cup of hot chocolate & five minutes later my DIY Spring wreath was DONE!
No glue gun required!!!
Can you tell I am still really into the color yellow for my Spring decorating?
Supplies Needed for an Easy DIY Spring Wreath
- 18″ grapevine wreath (I paid $3 for mine using a 40% weekly coupon)
- a bunch of 5 forsythia flowers (I paid $4.50 for mine and they were 1/2 off) \ (you could easily substitute any flower you choose)
- green floral wire
If you were following along with the math the wreath cost me only $7.50 to make!
Step by Step Instructions for How to Make this DIY Spring wreath
Step ONE – Collect all Your Supplies
Step TWO – Wrap Your Flowers Around the Grapevine Wreath
Take your flowers and wrap them around your grapevine wreath cutting any stems to make them a little shorter.
Step THREE – Use Floral Wire to Secure the Flowers to the DIY Spring Wreath
I also used the green floral wire to help keep the flowers in place when hanging on your front door.
Step FOUR – Hang your Spring Wreath
I looped one green wire around the grapevine in order to hang it on the front door of our farmhouse.
See super simple!
