We have been shiplapping like crazy around here 🙂 . Our boys bathroom received a small makeover with a new mirror & shiplap walls. It was a simple & inexpensive update that we finished in just a weekend!
Shiplap in the Boys Bathroom

If you have never seen what our boys bathroom looked like when we moved in, you can see the before here. You will not believe the transformation!
The mirror we originally cut to fit over the farmhouse sink had begun to get moisture behind it & started to develop black spots on it making it difficult to see your reflection in. It also looked really ugly!
We decided to replace it with this one we found on Home Depot. It is larger than our previous mirror & we loved the clean lines & classic look of it.
When we took the old mirror and were faced with having to replaster/drywall AGAIN we decided to patch the holes and add shiplap instead.
We are absolutely loving the shiplap in our dining room & kitchen that we decided bring it into the boys bathroom as well. It won’t be long before our dining room is finished & I can share the full reveal with you guys.
After patching the holes to the bathroom walls we nailed the shiplap to the wall above the farmhouse sink. We had enough leftover shiplap from the dining room that it cost us NOTHING to add which is amazing.
I covered the nail holes with spackle & primed & painted the shiplap white.
We LOVE the look of the shiplap in the boys bathroom now & we ALREADY want to add it to our foyer/entryway & the laundry room one day. Crossing my fingers shiplap doesn’t go out of style any time soon 🙂
