Hi everyone! I am back to share my Spring Patio Table Scape with you! With Spring finally here our family is more than ready to go outside and enjoy it! Despite having this amazing and newly private patio /deck space off our kitchen that we have many a family meal at (hello, no vacuuming up crumbs :)…
We have never had outdoor dishes to enjoy our meals on until now :). We try to be as paperless as possible here (so no paper plates or paper napkins). While shopping at my local Big Lots store I came across the these super colorful plastic cups and dishes in the outdoor dining/ garden area in the back of the store.
Big Lots carries high-quality lawn & garden/outdoor décor products, including patio furniture & gazebos, that is value priced, trend right, with the ability to mix and match to create a perfect outdoor space. As you can see I had no trouble filling my cart up :).
Once I saw the colorful plates, bowls, glasses and pillows I knew I wanted to bring them home to not only have to enjoy our outdoor family meals on but also bring some much needed color to our outdoor patio/ deck.
They are plastic/ melamine so I don’t have to worry about the kids dropping them and breaking them which is a huge blessing as we regularly lose glasses and dishes in rogue accidents where no one is around…or so my kids tell me :).
I did add some cut bulbs from our garden to add even more color to our spring patio table scape.
Normally I don’t cut our bulb flowers but with a snowstorm coming this past weekend I knew the blooms were not going to last forever anyway!
I also loved that I could mix and match my new outdoor dishes and that they weren’t all the same pattern. Styles and assortment vary by store but the fun thing about these dishes is that you can mix and match them anyway you want.
The colors also go amazingly well with my vintage blue Ball Jars and my vintage Fiestaware which I am pretty excited about too. I can’t wait to mix and match them even more over the spring, summer and Fall.
How fun do they look stacked!!!
I also picked out 4 pillows to go along with the dishes for our patio table armchairs and chaises. I love the extra pop of color it gives our spring patio especially since not everything has flowered or leafed out yet!
The last thing I did for our patio/deck refresh is add a string of outdoor Edison lights to hang on our lattice fence for nights when we need a little extra ambience:).
I think our patio is pretty perfect now!
Thanks so much for stopping by to see my Spring Patio Table Scape! I hope you guys are enjoying some beautiful weather where you live. Happy Spring!
