Our coffee pot died this morning. To be honest I kinda have been waiting for it to die… :). It was a hand me down from my friend BethAnne after they got a Keurig and our last one died. Can you see a pattern here, either we drink way too much coffee or the life span for a coffee maker in our house is about 5 years or so. And to think that Jason never wanted me to register for a coffee maker because he didn’t drink coffee!!! Ha! Those of you that know him know that my husband drinks tons of coffee. Heres our last pot:
I have wanted a coffee/ hot chocolate station but this coffee pot was just not pretty enough to display:). A bunch of our friends have Keurigs now and I love that you can do tea and hot chocolate as well as coffee but we have people over all the time and I didn’t want anyone to have wait in line for their coffee. We picked out this cuisinart one and less than 12 hours in we love it! I love that it has on demand hot water for hot chocolate. Our family loves hot chocolate in the winter! Who doesn’t right?
I also gave up on my fiestaware sugar bowl too. The lid has just been chipped way too many times.
I am not getting rid of the old sugar bowl, just saving it from being too chipped to use :). I love my vintage fiestaware collection but for now I moved the sugar to a blue ball jar.
I also added some mini marshmallows, tea bags and candy canes to 3 other blue ball jars. So festive! I am definitely loving getting ready for Christmas! The kids love the new hot chocolate station! I will definitely be buying hot chocolate in bulk this year. Costco here I come!
